Our commitment
Nick Sadek Sotheby's International Realty is committed to making this website usable by people of all abilities. We design and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA and treat accessibility as ongoing work rather than a one-time project.
What we have done
- Built the site with semantic HTML, a logical heading structure, named landmarks, a skip link, and keyboard-operable menus, dialogs, and controls.
- Verified color contrast for text and interface components against WCAG thresholds at the design-token level, including in the high-contrast setting.
- Made every interactive element reachable and visible with the keyboard, with focus never hidden behind sticky bars.
- Respected the operating system's reduced-motion preference and provided a Reduce Motion control.
- Provided a first-party Accessibility Settings panel (the icon in the floating quick-actions bar) with text size, spacing, a dyslexia-friendly typeface, high contrast, link highlighting, a large cursor, reduced motion, low saturation, a strong focus indicator, and a reading guide. The settings are saved on your device only. The site is built to meet the standard without the panel; the panel adds conveniences.
- Tested with automated tools (axe) on every page in a real browser, and with manual keyboard and screen reader checks of the home page, a community page, the search page, the contact form, and the mobile menu.
Known limitations
- The property search, listing galleries, map search, and market reports are provided by a third party, iHomefinder, Inc., and their accessibility is outside our direct control. If you have trouble with them, call us and an agent will run the search for you and send results.
- Embedded maps from mapping providers and videos hosted on third-party platforms may not fully meet the guidelines.
- Some older blog posts migrated from our previous site may contain images without complete descriptions. We are reviewing them.
