About us
A local brokerage with a global network
Full-service residential and commercial real estate across five counties, built by a Sacramento-area broker and backed by the Sotheby's International Realty brand.
The brokerage
Nick Sadek Sotheby’s International Realty is a full-service residential and commercial real estate brokerage serving the Greater Sacramento region. The firm was built by broker Nick Sadek, who has led a Sacramento-area brokerage since 2000, and became an affiliate of the Sotheby’s International Realty network in 2017. It operates from four offices: Roseville, Sacramento, Woodland, and Nevada City, serving Placer, Sacramento, El Dorado, Yolo, and Nevada counties.
The brokerage represents property at every price point. Luxury here is a standard of service, not a price threshold: the same marketing discipline, the same preparation, and the same negotiation whether the property is a Granite Bay estate, a Midtown bungalow, a Loomis ranch, or a downtown commercial building.
The Sotheby's International Realty affiliation
The Sotheby’s International Realty brand traces to the Sotheby’s auction house, founded in London in 1744, and has operated as a real estate franchise network since 2004 under Sotheby’s International Realty Affiliates LLC. For a seller, the affiliation means a listing is distributed to a global network of affiliate offices and marketed on sothebysrealty.com alongside properties from around the world. For a buyer, it means a referral network that reaches the city you are leaving. For the brokerage, it means brand standards that shape how every listing is presented. Each office in the network is independently owned and operated; this one is owned and operated locally.
How the firm works
Agents are matched to clients by geography and experience, so the person representing you works the community you are buying or selling in. Leadership reviews pricing and marketing plans on listings. In-house marketing produces the photography, video, print, and digital campaigns. The firm’s multilingual agents serve clients in Spanish, Arabic, Farsi, Tagalog, Turkish, and Azari, and its relocation agents work with buyers arriving from the Bay Area, Southern California, other states, and abroad.
Community
The brokerage and its agents support organizations across the region, from school foundations and youth programs to the Sacramento SPCA, Seniors First in Auburn, and public media. Read more on our community involvement page.

What clients say
-
“There are so many moving parts when buying or selling a home. Chris Hagerman was there every step of the way, from writing a competitive offer that ultimately got us the home to scheduling inspections. He handled weeks of complicated paperwork and forms. He is dependable and always willing to go the extra mile for his clients.”
-
“Marlease Sewell, without a doubt, walked me through the process of selling my home of over 50 years to helping buy my new home, with endless attention. Her attention to detail, hands-on approach, and availability were so appreciated. Marlease would be my first choice in real estate.”
-
“I have bought and sold many homes over the years and used many different agents. Julie Fletcher is knowledgeable, experienced, and a pleasure to be around. Julie is a skilled negotiator. I was pleasantly surprised when she got more for my home than I ever expected.”
